Hi All, What do you think helps or hurts to drink during a tmnt? I used to think apple juice was good, but now I am leaning more toward energy drinks. Or does it really matter?

If I'm tired- coffee. If I'm tired and it's late- Mountain Dew. If I'm awake- water. If I'm in Vegas- beer.

Thanks for the response. I noticed that I get a bunch of energy drink ads on the top of the page when I look at this topic. I'll have to ask a question about Nimzovitch and see what pops up.

Mostly, a concoction I make up containing Dew® or equivalent, and fountain cherry syrup, which, a far as I can tell, is available only at QuikTrip®. I also bring Code Red™. Sometiems I drink chocolate milk, or water. But I do okay anyway!

Mornings I've started to drink coffee, but aside from that I drink more water than is healthy. I remember one 2 or so hour game I played where I went to the bathroom some 5-8 times.

Diet Mountain Dew, but that would be the answer regardless of what I was doing.
